The official public kick-off of the Challenge Program at Prescott High School tool place during the lunch hours of May first.  Challenge Club faculty sponsors Matt Dean and Tiffany Boehle along with Azimuth Quest president Brent Roberts manned tables surrounded by tools of the trade, bikes, boats, packs, climbing gear, maps and compasses (and GPS.)  Lots of kids were drawn in by the display and in the end 15 girls and 16 boys filled out interest forms, more than enough to start our first cohort in the Fall.  We had supportive drop-bys from PHS principal Mark Goligoski, Vice Principle Clark Tenney, and District Superintendent Joe Howard.  Also numerous other PHS staff and faculty stopped in wondering how they could become involved.  All in all, a highly successful first recruiting event!  Don't forget to help us get the new Challenge program off the ground by visiting our "Support Us" page.
